The Global Diaspora Confederation (GDC) held the first annual Global Diaspora Week in December 2021 which had in attendance, diaspora organizations' leaders and supporters of diaspora communities. In response to diaspora organizations’ anticipations shared with GDC last year, we are now in preparation for seven flagship activities to enable, engage and empower them in the years to come.
Hence, we are so delighted to announce the launch of the 2nd Global Diaspora Week (GDWeek22) that will virtually take place on Zoom between 11 and 17 December (GMT) / 12 and 18 December (New Zealand Time).
This is the chance for all diaspora organizations to share their input on the seven flagship activities. The exciting and meaningful activities are Global Diaspora Academy, Coordination, Fair, Forum, Expo, Festival, and Awards.
We would love to hear about your great ideas and experiences during any of the six Continental Days (11-16 December) and see you also at the Global Diaspora Assembly (17 December) and Annual Humanitarian Assistance Meeting (13 December).
